The 2010 NAPCA Summer Workshop will be held at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel, Houston, Texas, August 19, 2010.

We encourage all delegates to make their workshop registration on-line by clicking on the link set forth above. One or more delegates may register for the workshop at the same time and charge all registrations to the same credit card, thus avoiding the duplication of the same contact information for multiple delegates (if applicable). If you prefer not to register for the workshop on-line, please print the workshop registration form contained in the workshop packet, complete same and return it with appropriate fees to the NAPCA office NO LATER THAN AUGUST 12, 2010. However, if you decide you can attend at the last minute please do so and notify the NAPCA office at your earliest convenience so we can include you in the count.  You may telefax the form first and then mail it with your check. If you desire to stay overnight at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel, YOU MUST MAKE YOUR ROOM RESERVATION AT THE HOTEL NO LATER THAN AUGUST 4, 2010 IN ORDER TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A ROOM. You may make your hotel room reservation via the Internet by clicking on the the following link [RESERVE ROOM], by calling the hotel at (713) 961-9300 and asking for "In House Reservations", or by calling (800) HILTONS. You may also obtain your reservation via telefax at (713) 968-1329 requesting "In House Reservations." We have arranged an extremely favorable guaranteed rate for single or double occupancy of $149.00 per night which is considerably below the customary hotel rates at the Hilton.

2010 NAPCA Convention

The 2010 NAPCA Convention was held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells, California, April 7-11 of this year. It was a tremendous success and was defined by the high caliber of the speakers at the business program, the wonderful location, and the networking that took place. At their meeting on April 10, the NAPCA Regular Members elected three new members to the Board of Trustees.  The new members are as follows: Hank Reuser of Perma-Pipe, Inc., Joel Chermack of Midwest Pipe Coating, Inc., and Ron Carlson, Jr. of Commercial Resins.  These three replaced the following outgoing Board members: Richard F. Brunst, Jr., President of Western Pipe Coaters and Engineers, Inc., George Stoddard, President of Mobile Pipe Wrappers & Coaters, Inc., and Ryan Norris, Inside Sales for Dura-Bond Coating, Inc.  NAPCA thanks the outgoing trustees for their support and efforts during their respective terms.  At the Board meeting that took place on April 10, Merry Brumbaugh, Vice President of Tubular Products for L.B. Foster Company, was re-elected to the post of President of NAPCA. Other officers elected include Brendan Ryan, Vice President and General Manager, North America for Bredero Shaw, who was re-elected to the position of Vice President, and Gary Brown, President of Commerical Coating Services International, Ltd., who was elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer.  Additionally, Jeff Fargerson of 3M Corrosion Protection Products commenced his term as the NAPCA Associate Member Chairman.

2009 NAPCA Workshop
